    THE PARISH OF ST.CATHERINE OF SIENA
    belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool, England.
    It covers the district of Lowton, (which is near the Lancashire town of Leigh) from its boundary with Newton-le-Willows in the South to Leigh in the North; and from Golborne in the West to Culcheth in the East. The church stands in the centre of the parish on the south side of the junction of Newton Road (A572)with the East Lancashire Road (A580). It is 17 miles from Liverpool and 16 miles from Manchester. and 2 miles east of M6 junction 23.
